The new generation of buffer systems from the American brand Armaspec introduces a combined buffer and recoil spring in one unit, which you can easily install to improve the firearm's operation and shooting comfort. This buffer is designed so that the bolt carrier does not rub against the inner side of the tube, resulting in smooth and quiet carrier movement while simultaneously reducing recoil.

This buffer is for use only with bolt carriers whose rear opening has an inner diameter of at least 0.6" (15.24 mm). Most bolt carriers have a larger dimension and can be used with this buffer; however, some manufacturers make the opening in the carrier smaller, making it incompatible.

Unfortunately, that is not all. Bolt carrier systems for AR-15 in 9x19mm have one more specific feature — a weight in the rear section. Some bolt carriers have it inside the opening and it can be removed; others have it as the entire rear section, and removing it would shorten the carrier, which is not possible. Not every bolt carrier system is suitable for use with the Armaspec buffer, so it is necessary to inspect, measure, and possibly test the function of the Armaspec buffer with your carrier.
