THOMPSON 1927A-1 – The Legendary "Tommy Gun"

Even after more than 100 years of history, the iconic "Chicago Typewriter" – the revered Thompson submachine gun – remains a staple among collectors and sport shooters alike.

The Thompson 1927A-1 in .45 ACP caliber is equipped with an attached Cutts compensator, which extends the finned 16.5" (42 cm) barrel to an overall length of 18.5" (47 cm) and gives the carbine a total length of 41" (104 cm) from stock to muzzle. This version of the "Tommy Gun" features a steel frame with a blued finish. It has a blade front sight and adjustable open rear sight. The detachable stock and forend are crafted from luxurious polished American walnut. With the stock removed, the rifle measures 31.5" (80 cm).
