The new checkered pattern fully exploits the shaping possibilities of the special polymer used for the stock and forend, creating a flawless surface for a secure grip. AirTouch technology is used on all Comfortech stocks and forends of shotguns with the so-called Inertia Driven System and on Argo rifles.

Inertia Driven System - fundamental design, simple construction, easy maintenance, and manufacturing precision – all for maximum power and reliability. Benelli's ingenuity lies in its strict design, structural simplicity, and ease of maintenance. There are three main components: the bolt, which acts as an internal block freely moving along longitudinal guides on the sides of the receiver; the locking head; and a large recoil spring attached to the bolt. The system's operation is brilliant and efficient. After the trigger is pulled and the shot fired, due to recoil the entire firearm begins to move rearward except for the freely mounted bolt, which instead begins to compress the spring. Once the recoil subsides and the rearward movement of the shotgun slows, the spring in the bolt begins to expand and sets the bolt in motion relative to the receiver, causing the barrel to unlock and completing the full cycle. The ingenuity of the simple mechanisms used, combined with manufacturing precision and structural simplicity, guarantees a cycle that delivers maximum durability, extreme reliability, and will never jam.
ComforTech - Technogel material, specially developed for Benelli, is a patentable innovation capable of changing the rules of shooting, bringing a revolution in the relationship between the shooter and the firearm, and altering the balance between weight and size, performance and ergonomics. Using advanced technological processes, state-of-the-art materials, and sophisticated computational programs, leading engineers and technicians have created an integrated system of stock, recoil pad, and cheekpiece with the ability to reversibly deform and absorb a portion of the recoil upon firing. The shape of the stock is designed to absorb part of the recoil before it reaches the shooter's shoulder, ensuring maximum shooting comfort.
