Bronze Brush .20 (3 pcs)
BoreTech (USA)

The bronze brush from the American brand BoreTech represents the pinnacle of rifle cleaning brushes. It is designed with emphasis on performance, safety, and durability. Unlike standard brushes, this model features twice the number of phosphor-bronze bristles, with the diameter and distribution of the bristles precisely optimized for each specific caliber.

The brush has a double-wound core with a closed loop, eliminating the risk of bore damage from sharp ends. Thanks to its aerospace-grade aluminum thread, it is ideal for long-term use without corrosion or wear.

The perfect choice for anyone who takes firearm maintenance seriously – whether they are sport shooters, hunters, or professionals.

  • Designed for caliber .20"

  • Double bristle density for effective removal of fouling

  • Safe tip with no sharp edges – gentle on the barrel

  • Quality materials: phosphor-bronze, aerospace aluminum

  • Durable construction for long service life

Instructions for Use

  1. Attach the brush to the cleaning rod.

  2. Moisten the brush with a suitable cleaning solvent.

  3. Make 6–12 passes through the barrel.

NOTE: With bronze brushes, always push the brush through the full length of the barrel and allow it to exit at the muzzle. Only then may you reverse the stroke. Never reverse the brush stroke inside the barrel!

  4. Reapply solvent and continue as needed.

  5. After use, thoroughly clean the brush and store it properly.

Questions and Answers:

  • How should I clean the brushes after use?
    • If you are using BoreTech cleaning products, warm water is sufficient. We recommend rubbing the brush between your palms under warm running tap water.
  • Why do my patches always turn blue when using the brush with Eliminator solvent?
    • Eliminator, like other products designed to remove copper fouling, reacts with the bronze brush and begins to strip copper from the bristles. To avoid false indication of copper fouling in the bore, we recommend choosing BoreTech Proof-Positive nylon brushes
      when using copper-removing solvents.
  • Do I need to unscrew the brush before pulling the rod back through the barrel to avoid damaging the muzzle?
    • We have never observed any muzzle damage or loss of accuracy when passing the brush back through the barrel. BoreTech brushes are well designed and, when used correctly, are 100% bore-safe. The barrel will wear out long before the brush could cause any damage.
  • Can the metal core of the brush damage my barrel?
    • No. BoreTech brushes are designed to be completely bore-safe when used correctly.
  • What thread type do BoreTech brushes have?
    • All Bore Tech brushes have a male thread; for calibers .17 and .20 the brushes have a 5/40 thread and a length of 38 mm, and for caliber .22 and larger the brushes have an 8/32 thread and a length of 64 mm.
