Attach the brush to the cleaning rod.

Moisten the brush with a suitable cleaning solvent.

Make 6–12 passes through the barrel.
NOTE: With bronze brushes, you must always push the brush through the full length of the barrel and let it exit at the muzzle. Only then may you reverse the stroke. Never reverse the brush stroke inside the barrel!

Reapply the cleaning agent and continue as needed.

After use, thoroughly clean the brush and store it properly.

- If you are using BoreTech cleaning products, warm water is sufficient. We recommend rubbing the brush between your palms under warm running tap water.

- We have never observed any muzzle damage or loss of accuracy when passing the brush back through the barrel. BoreTech brushes are well designed and, when used correctly, are 100% safe for the bore. The barrel will wear out long before a brush could cause any damage.
