For shooters who love pushing the limits of extreme distances, the ELR is a specialized rifle that takes "long-range shooting" to a new level. Designed for precision enthusiasts who aren't afraid of the challenge of hitting a target at extreme range – this rifle reaches out and rings steel at an incredible distance.

Trigger System

The trigger is factory set to approximately 3 lbs (approx. 1.36 kg) of pull weight. Aftermarket triggers should be installed by an experienced gunsmith. NOTE: The trigger mechanism has sealing compound on the set screws and adjustment points, which indicates unauthorized tampering.

Barrel Life

Christensen Arms carbon fiber-wrapped barrels are a top-tier choice and represent an upgrade for any weapons platform. A carbon barrel consists of a carefully selected stainless steel match-grade barrel. The steel profile is machined to a specific contour based on the original Christensen Arms design and then wrapped in carbon fiber using a patented process. The chamber is cut to match-grade specifications, so the Christensen Arms carbon barrel delivers improved performance and the accuracy expected from a top-tier rifle.

Appearance

Christensen Arms firearms are industrial products and have a finish appropriate for their intended use. Every Christensen Arms rifle is thoroughly test-fired before shipping. It is common for new rifles to show signs of this testing. If the receiver appears to have a lighter or uneven coloration, this is often caused by a dry surface – simply apply a light coat of oil and the appearance will improve.

The Christensen Arms ELR is a purpose-built rifle for extreme long-range shooting. It was developed to provide every advantage that helps compensate for the variables a shooter must contend with at such distances.

It includes the proprietary Christensen Arms bolt action, patented carbon fiber-wrapped barrel technology, the ELR carbon stock with adjustable length of pull and cheek height, and a titanium muzzle brake.

This rifle will allow you to hit the target you can see – instead of just telling the sad story of the one that got away.
