The Ase Utra DUAL series suppressors are the most advanced sound suppressors utilizing flow-through technology, also known as forced purge. They are therefore designed primarily for use on semi-automatic firearms, as they significantly reduce the so-called back pressure on the moving mechanisms of the firearm and thus, unlike suppressors of conventional design, do not increase the speed of movement and thereby the stress and wear on these components. This solution also reduces fouling of the firearm with combustion residue and unpleasant effects on the shooter.
Ase Utra DUAL suppressors have undergone rigorous testing on military, fully automatic weapons including machine guns (e.g. on MINIMI machine guns in both 5.56 and 7.62) and are therefore an absolutely top-tier choice for civilian semi-automatic rifle owners as well. These suppressors have repeatedly passed tests according to the US SOCOM methodology (SOCOM stress test cycles).
