- The Viper HS-T series rifle scopes from the American company Vortex are exceptional primarily for their price-to-performance ratio
- They are essentially the same as the Viper PST series scopes, but without illumination
- All models feature a one-piece tube made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum
- They are waterproof and argon-purged, so they will not fog up
- They are shockproof and have a matte, hard-anodized finish
- The ArmorTek coating effectively protects the lenses against scratches, oils, and dirt
- Tactical turrets allow for quick elevation and windage adjustments
- The rifle scope is equipped with a simplified Zero Stop function
- This model is available with two types of click adjustment (MOA and MRAD)
- The type of click adjustment is a matter of personal preference; MOA allows for more precise adjustments (1 click = 7.35 mm at one hundred meters), while MRAD makes calculations easier for most users as it is based on the metric system (1 click = 1 cm at one hundred meters)
- This is a second focal plane model (the reticle size does not change with the set magnification; rangefinding elements correspond at 18x magnification)
- Primarily intended for target shooting and hunting
- The rifle scope is supplied with a sunshade and a cleaning cloth
