Cole-TAC HTP Cover for Ase Utra DUAL 556 Short Suppressor, Black

HTP (High Temperature Python) is a line of protective suppressor covers from Cole-TAC. The cover consists of two layers, with the inner insulating liner briefly withstanding temperatures up to 1650°C. The outer cover, available in a choice of colors, can withstand temperatures up to 270°C. In practice, this means the insulating cover can handle temperatures generated during intensive semi and full-auto fire at up to approximately 100 rounds per minute (rpm).

The Cole-TAC HTP cover protects both the suppressor itself from damage and, most importantly, the shooter from burns or equipment damage caused by accidental contact with a hot suppressor.

It also eliminates mirage (the shimmer of heated air above the suppressor that makes aiming difficult).

The inner thermal insulating liner is additionally made from a highly adhesive material, ensuring absolutely secure attachment of the cover even on the smooth body of the suppressor and preventing it from slipping.
