• The GIS RSR30/40 WB sound suppressor is intended primarily as a special weapon accessory for armed forces.
• During its development and production, emphasis was placed on maximum durability during fully automatic fire, including when using supersonic ammunition. The front end is made of hardened grade 15 steel and, like all other components of the RSR30/40 WB, is nitrided to increase resistance to damage and corrosion. The front end therefore serves not only as an effective flash suppressor and protection against the ingress of debris into the suppressor, but can also be used as an effective breaching tool for forced entry into vehicles and buildings.
• Given the demands for maximum efficiency and durability in the most demanding conditions, the primary material used in the manufacture of the RSR30/40 WB model is steel with a surface-protective nitriding treatment.
• GIS RSR30/40 WB sound suppressors are manufactured as non-disassemblable for safety reasons. However, they can be cleaned chemically — see the user manual.
• GIS RSR30/40 WB sound suppressors are standardly manufactured for weapons with thread pitches of 5/8″-24, M14x1, M14x1L, M15x1; others available upon customer request.
