The latest addition to the Sparc red dot sight family from the American brand Vortex Optics is called SOLAR. As the name suggests, this model has a solar panel on the top side, which under certain light conditions is capable of powering the sight, thus saving the battery, whose lifespan reaches an impressive 150,000 hours (the exact lifespan depends on light conditions and the battery used). The D-TEC technology ensures a smooth transition between the solar panel and the battery. The brightness of the red dot can be set to 10 intensity levels plus two additional ones compatible with night vision. This sight is always ready for action. The sight shuts off after 14 hours of inactivity, but as soon as it moves — as soon as you raise your rifle — it switches on automatically. Whether you are shooting up close or far away, day or night, the Vortex Optics Sparc SOLAR will find its place on a rifle or shotgun, anytime and anywhere.
