This TYPE 1 grip fits all AR-15 / M4 platforms, as well as most 7.62x51 variants such as Aero Precision M5 308, CMMG MK3, CORE Rifle Systems CORE30, HK 417 / MR762A1, LWRCI REPR, Mega Arms MATEN, POF P-308, Ruger SR-762 and SIG 716
TYPE 2 of this grip has a raised rear rounded section, which better suits certain 7.62x51 uppers, such as those found on Armalite AR-10A/B/T, DPMS LR308, KAC SR25, LaRue OBR, LMT .308 MWS, Palmetto PA10 and S&W M&P10
In general, TYPE 1 will fit most 7.62x51 AR-type lower receivers; on some there may or may not be a small gap between the "beavertail" and the lower receiver. This is purely an aesthetic issue and does not affect function in any way.
