The PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 Window is a lightweight, cost-effective, and highly reliable 20-round magazine for SR25/M110 pattern rifles chambered in 7.62x51 NATO (.308 Winchester). Manufactured from modern impact- and deformation-resistant polymer, the new magazine features durable transparent windows on both sides that allow quick estimation of remaining rounds via a highlighted coil on the spring and numerical markings on the magazine body. This patented feature, known as the MagLevel system, provides a rapid round count estimate without compromising the magazine's durability or reliability.

As with other PMAG magazines, the 20 LR/SR GEN M3 Window features a stainless steel, corrosion-resistant spring and a self-lubricating follower. The magazine's shape is designed with a constantly curved internal geometry that ensures smooth and reliable feeding. Low-profile ribbing and aggressive front and rear texturing provide the shooter with a firm grip during magazine changes under all conditions. The bottom of the magazine body features a dot matrix panel for marker identification, making identification easier.

Additional standard features include an extended floorplate that facilitates magazine removal and handling; this surface also increases drop protection and is narrow enough for better compatibility with narrow double magazine pouches. The magazine is also easily disassembled for convenient cleaning and maintenance.

Specifically designed for SAAMI-spec ammunition, the PMAG 20 LR/SR GEN M3 Window weighs less than half of standard steel magazines, and its service life is approximately equal to that of a rifle barrel. Accessories designed for the PMAG 7.62x51 NATO magazine line are fully compatible with this model.
