Magpul MAG586-PLM – Zhukov Handguard (Plum, AK Platform)

The Magpul Zhukov handguard is a modern solution for AK-47/AKM/AK-74 platforms that takes ergonomics, modularity, and durability to the next level. The Plum color variant offers not only functionality but also a distinctive look to set your rifle apart.

The construction combines a durable polymer shell with a full aluminum chassis, ensuring high strength, secure play-free mounting, and effective heat dissipation during firing. Thanks to its extended length, it provides a larger gripping surface and better control with modern shooting techniques.

Integrated M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions allow easy attachment of accessories such as rails, grips, or lights. The handguard is compatible with most standard AK rifles (excluding Yugo/RPK variants) and also supports use with Ultimak optic mounts.

Key features:

• designed for AK-47 / AKM / AK-74 platforms
• combination of polymer and aluminum core for maximum durability
• M-LOK interface (3, 6, 9 o'clock) for accessory attachment
• extended profile for better grip and control
• effective heat dissipation during firing
• ergonomic, non-slip surface
• includes polymer top cover
• color: Plum

Installation requires modification (removal of the original handguard retainer), making it a solution primarily for users who want to get the most out of their AK platform in terms of performance, ergonomics, and modularity.
