The dual-sided design offers two distinct clamping surfaces tailored to different applications. For sensitive components such as suppressors, the rubber V-groove provides gentle, heat-resistant support with sufficient clamping force without damaging your investment. When working with more durable materials such as cast iron pipes or steel tubing, where surface marring is not a concern, simply flip the jaws to reveal the metal V-groove, which provides an extremely firm, vise-like grip.
