JP JPSCS2-15 (Silent Captured Spring Gen 2) is a drop-in recoil spring and buffer system for AR-15 that replaces the standard buffer and spring combination in the stock tube. It is a solution from JP Enterprises, designed for smoother operation, reduced vibration, and elimination of the typical "sproing" sound during the bolt cycle.

Unlike a standard spring, the entire system is captured – the spring, guide rod, and weights form a single module that slides into the buffer tube. This significantly improves cycle consistency and reduces friction in the tube.
