• The GIS RSR30/40 WB suppressor is intended primarily as a special weapon accessory for armed forces.
• Its development and manufacturing placed emphasis on maximum durability during fully automatic fire, even when using supersonic ammunition. The front face is made from grade 15 hardened steel and, like all other components of the RSR30/40 WB, is nitrided to enhance resistance to damage and corrosion. The front face therefore serves not only as an effective flash hider and protection against dirt entering the suppressor, but can also be used as an effective breaching tool for forced entry into vehicles and buildings.
• Given the demands for maximum effectiveness and durability in the most demanding conditions, the primary material used in the manufacture of the RSR30/40 WB model is steel with a nitrided surface treatment.
• GIS RSR30/40 WB suppressors are manufactured as non-disassemblable for safety reasons. However, they can be cleaned chemically – see the user manual.
• GIS RSR30/40 WB suppressors are standardly manufactured for firearms with 5/8″-24, M14x1, M14x1L, M15x1 threads, and others upon customer request.
